2024 Detroit Open Kendo Tournament Announcement14th Annual Keishicho (Tokyo Police Force) Sensei Kendo Seminar

Dear Sensei and Kendo Friends,

We are thrilled to announce the 14th Annual Keishicho (Tokyo Police Force) Sensei Kendo Seminar, hosted by Kendo Ontario and the Etobicoke Olympium Kendo / Iaido Club. After a hiatus since 2019 due to the pandemic, we are excited to resume this esteemed event. This year, we are honored to have Seigou Atari Sensei (7 Dan Kyoshi) lead the seminar.

The purpose of this seminar is to provide kendoka with the unique opportunity to experience Keishicho Kendo firsthand. We hope this event will inspire participants and deepen their interest in Kendo.

Following the seminar, there will be a dinner with Atari Sensei, offering everyone the chance to ask questions and get to know him better. The details regarding the dinner location, time, and fees will be provided later.

Anyone attending the seminar or dinner must complete the following online registration form:

We would like to extend our gratitude to Kendo Ontario for their support in making this event possible. While no fee will be collected for the seminar, generous donations from participants and dojos will be greatly appreciated to help cover the event costs.

Thank you,
