The CKF is pleased to announce the events and details for the 20th Canadian National Kendo Championships to be held on the Simon Fraser University (SFU) campus in Burnaby, BC this summer.

We invite members of the CKF community to share their knowledge and experiences in developing and growing the martial arts community, through a series of 30-minute presentations. Details to follow.

Seminar with Daiki Kiwada Sensei
Team Canada Technical Advisor, Daiki Kiwada Sensei (2012 All Japan Kendo Champion from the Osaka Police Department) will lead a seminar for the CKF.

Summary of Qualifying Rules:
- Your CKF and Dojo Fees for 2020 must be paid. Pay Now >>
- Competitors in both individual and team competition must either be a Canadian Citizen or have Canadian Permanent Residence status at time of registration. Participants may only compete in one category for individual categories.
- Women may compete in the Open Division instead of the Women’s Division.
- U18 players may compete in the Women’s Division or Open Division instead of U18 Girls or Boys.
- Participants may compete in multiple teams (club and provincial).
- U15 and U18 juniors may play up on Provincial and Club Teams.
- Junior competitors must play in their specified age category.
